This page is in his honor. He is missed by his family, many friends around the world, and those whose lives he touched through this product. 'Küfnerpowder" is no longer be available. In memory and honor of Robert Küfner, RK BioDrops is the homeopathic formula we have developed from the remaining supply of his powder. We are now accepting orders. Supply is limited. We offer this unique product, RK BioDrops, $12 plus shipping. NEW (March 2009) I am currently working on blending and packaging to revive Küfner Powder. I've selected source materials following lab analysis. At this juncture it appears that what will be labeled as RK BioBlend - "Gemütlichkeit" - will be sold in an 8 ounce container, bulk powder form, with a suggested dose of 1/4 teaspoon daily or more as needed. January 2010: Price will approximately $18, USD + shipping. Please check back to see our progress. bioSUPPLEMENTE NATURALLE™ Food for the Health of Your Cells

Notes from the 1996 report of scientific findings -
The Importance of Yeast - based on the work of Dr. O' Halloran and Dr. Blobel The 1999 Noble Prize in Physiology was awarded to Dr. Günter Blobel for discovering Proteins have intrinsic signals that govern their transport and localization in the cell" Dr. Günter Blobel, a cell and molecular biologist at the Rockefeller University in New York, has been researching the molecular mechanisms underlying the processes by which proteins are directed or transported into the cell. Dr. Blobel discovered that proteins have an intrinsic signal that is essential for governing them to and across the cellular membranes. He also showed that similar "address tags", or "zip codes", direct proteins to other intracellular locations."(Ref.1) We call these codes Protein Chaperones.Protein Chaperones - "Each protein carries in its structure the information needed to specify its proper location in the cell." (Ref. 1) The principles discovered and described by Günter Blobel are universal, operating similarly in yeast, plant, and animal cells. "This knowledge will increase our understanding of processes leading to disease and can be used to develop new therapeutic strategies."(Ref 1) Currently both drugs and nutrients are being produced with Protein Chaperones, e.g. insulin, growth hormone, interferon and FoodState® Nutrients. Dr. Blobel's work reinforces the research published in Science," Metal Ion Chaperone Function of the Soluble Cu(I) Receptor Atx1."(Ref. 2) This study revealed the actual processes and pathways by which Protein Chaperones delivered the mineral copper to the cells. An article published in Chemistry & Engineering reviewing this break through discovery, quotes researcher OHalloran, " As we asked questions about this protein (the protein chaperone for copper) we pulled a simple thread that is now unraveling fundamental aspects of intercellular copper coordination chemistry. Some of these details ultimately will be relevant to human nutrition and disease."(Ref. 4)Dr. O'Halloran's and Dr. Blobel's work was carried out in yeast. "Usually bacteria are used for the production of a drug, but in order to be functional certain human proteins need to be synthesized in more complex cells, such as yeast cells." (Ref.1) This scientific discovery into the delivery potential of yeast is crucial to unveiling the complex mechanisms of nutrient utilization by the cells. Pharmacist Andrew Szalay's discovery that yeast had the ability to properly deliver nutrients led to the development of the first whole food nutrients, in 1977. The philosophy behind the use of yeast and Protein Chaperones to deliver nutrients, has now been proven by the work of Dr. Blobel and Dr. O'Halloran. Nobel Laureate's, Dr. Casmir Funk and Dr. Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, were awarded their Nobel prizes for isolated fractions of food, yet advised the public to receive their nutrition from whole food. Dr. Blobel's and O'Halloran's work unravels the mystery behind how human cells are nourished and the importance of protein delivery to the cells. Funk and Szent-Gyorgyi both understood the importance of whole food without having these scientific discoveries to substantiate their knowledge.
