A friend sent me
this as a surprise gift. She is a nationally recognized designer and fabric artist.
It will be on all the Leaflady logo products now, T-shirts, Tote bags, note cards, etc. It will be incorporated into my web site and more since she gave me the rights to this lovely and wonderful one-of-a-kind piece of fabric art. And yes, I do have green eyes.

These fabric art 'hot pads' are under her 'Disenfranchised Domestics' label.
She says:
"I had that in my head for quite a while, and it was so nice to see it turn out like I saw it in my head! "We

I really feel like it captures your essence, and your values, the way I see you in my mind---
I wanted the eyes to be all-seeing, all caring, and filled with wisdom--
and, to be clearly GREEN!
The leaves radiating from the head are thoughts , knowledge, directed through illumination, for others, about
the medicinal properties of plants and living things--
The sunny yellow halo is the symbol of dawn of a bright new day, with the eclipse-like wavy halo around that, symbolizing a special day--
it's set against a dark blue, symbolizing a night sky...
which could be someone's darker time of yesterday's twilight health--
The "pink of health" is in an extra little planet ring or halo on the outside..
and.. the hot pad ..it's a utilitarian comment in itself... functional, everyday, and unassuming!
I found the leafy fabric for that with printed parrots, it was just perfect for what I wanted. There it was, one day, (and I even wound up with one of
the little butterflies on the back for you--) (!)"
